Qualicoat
The Machu test is a rapid method of assessing corrosion. To begin with, a cross-cut is made through the coating on a test specimen. The specimen is then exposed for 48 hours to a test solution containing table salt and hydrogen peroxide. The level of corrosion protection can be assessed by examining the undercutting at the cross-cut.
